Friend,
You can’t forget why you are here.
You mustn’t forget who you are,
Who you are here for.
After all you’ve been through
Do you now take a breath?
Or shall the toil go on?
Fighting for a cause
Discouraged
By your small efforts
Not realizing you’ve scaled the mountain.
Reflection upon the Tiber
Cures the weary mind
Why rest when we only have
A short period on this earth?
Pulling buckets
From a dry well
Cracks form in the
Stone.
Sleeping under the stars
For the glass mansions are shattered
Peace found in acceptance
Journey thought to be complete
Finishing the puzzle
Lad,
You have a life awaiting your entrance.
