Middle Aged Nihilist, Free Verse Poetry

We learn to laugh

We learn to cry

We learn to live

We learn to die.

Yet it seems few in this world understand

What is so apparent

So vibrant

To a select few.

We found on our search of this land

That all is vain

Human existence is twisted with pain.

Whether a man can admit this or not

It’s what awaits us all.
